Clipper currently owns two Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs): 

 

• Shinyo Mariner 271,208 dwt. - built in 1991
• Shinyo Sawako 277,425 dwt. - built in 1995

Commercial management of those vessels is outsourced to third parties.

Additionally, Clipper has four VLCC newbuildings under construction (under order) at major Chinese shipyards (Dalian and Jiangnan) - each vessel is about 300,000 dwt.

Two of these newbuildings will be delivered in 2010 (the first one in March), and the two last ones will be delivered in 2011.
