19 September 2007 Seatruck took over Celtic Link's Dublin-Liverpool route.

The coming year will be a pivotal year for Seatruck due to the addition of four newbuildings on the Irish Sea routes, providing a threefold increase in freight capacity - from 90,000 to 270,000 units per annum.
